“ Excellent experience listening to George Wolf #LonewolfCountry #LoneWolfBlues #LoneWolf play with John B Main on keyboard and Alex Brushett on Drums. Jamming to a rollicking good time listening to popular tunes worthy of a pub/bar. Look out for George performing at local places in Halifax and at Colleens Pub in Dartmouth. Service from Megan was exceptional. Loved her bouncy dancing walk that displayed her enthusiasm for work. ”

“ This has been for decades, the premier house of blues in Halifax.Last night i was privileged to play a 3 song set with Andrew Gillies fabulous jam host and harp player . I also watched an equally fabulous set by Mike" Shrimp Daddy " Reid and his crackerjack band. Gary on drums was outstanding. This guy can really shuffle. This would be my last time at Bearly's as the venue is moving in sept.to a new location on Grafton St. The original iconic building is circa 200 years old. I have no info as to why the move is necessary. Its a sad day to see this happen. Food and beer were great as usual but Oh!! Those blues... Heaven ”
“ First visit to Halifax. I was looking for Gaelic music, or maybe blues. Everyone said to go here. So I did. No Gaelic music, no blues. Instead I found THE GREEN REFLECTORS, two brothers (Kyle & Aaron) blasting out original rock songs at thermonuclear volume. Great stuff! Reminded me of the infamous CBGB's and Mud Club of 1980 NYC! (Yeah, I lived there at the time, and I'm old enough to remember them fondly.) At Bearly's I rocked, everyone rocked, even the wait staff boogied around between tables while delivering drinks. This place is great. Don't miss it if you visit Halifax. Next time I'm here I look forward to hearing some of the blues music it's famous for. I just hope it's as much fun as The Green Reflectors. ”
